Soberanes Creek

This simple and convenient hike is a great introduction to the Los Padres National Forest and Big Sur. The 2.5-mile there-and-back can be an excellent lunch trip with a scenic resting spot near the creek at the end. There are no facilities or potable water, and a few small creek crossings.

The Soberanes Canyon Trail in Garrapata State Park offers a captivating hike through diverse landscapes, including coastal bluffs, redwood groves, and creekside paths. Located along California's Highway 1, just south of Carmel-by-the-Sea, this trail provides a serene escape into nature.
